In this new era driven by volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity, organisations are under constant pressure, as they need to react quickly to changes and adapt fast to new circumstances. In order to be successful, organisations need to become more human-centred and less bureaucratic. Surprisingly, the opposite can be observed, as the so-called bureaucracy mass index of organisations is growing year after year.
